We are currently constructing over 10,000 square feet of arena facilities. We plan to host riding, roping and rodeo events for the church and community. These facilities will allow us to reach the western culture, and those that love it.
Children are one of our top priorities. At Second Chance, kids of all ages join the adults in the first part of the Sunday service. They learn to worship God by singing with the worship team of singers, guitars, and drums. Just before our pastor speaks, ages 3-11 go to the "white" building to hear a bible-based lesson appropriate for their age.
Babies are welcome to go to the cry room, or "baby barn" in the back of the church.
We love the Youth at Second Chance Cowboy. We have teenagers that attend from several schools in the surrounding area.
The women of Second Chance have a vibrant and engaging ministry. On Monday evenings, they host topical bible studies. They even have game nights, usually playing Bunco. Of course, every event starts out with a Potluck meal or snacks.
This is our Springfield Chuck Wagon that we totally restored to orginal specifications. We use it to enter Chuck Wagon cook-offs to make our church more visible in the community. Look for it at the Western Heritage Classic in May, as well as at other events.
